All Girls School Admissions Process

Troubled Girls Residential ProgramFrom the moment we receive your interest form to your daughter’s first day with us at AAG we work hand and hand with you to prepare your family for the positive transformation ahead. Our admissions staff are always just a phone call away, and help to ensure all of your needs are met while we work to set your daughter up for success at our all girls school.

To ensure appropriate placement for an all girls school, and to provide proper support for a student and her family, all applicants are screened through an application process and must meet the admitting criteria for Asheville Academy. Each student is screened on a case-by-case basis to ensure that she is an appropriate candidate for admission.

At times, a student may meet all admitting criteria but also exhibit concerns of identified exclusionary criteria for our all girls school. The school must be able to assure safety and growth. Therefore, Asheville Academy may require a 90 day assessment period to allow for determination of a child’s appropriateness for our program.  Being an all girls school and residential boarding program we have to make sure every girl is a good fit for our program.

We take every precaution necessary for your daughter to be a success at Asheville Academy for Girls.  An all girls school should have a proven track record of helping families, and the staff at any boarding school should be highly experienced. We are here to help your daughter get the skills necessary to be successful once she returns home.
